Rowan first began building cabinets and furniture in an old corn crib that his father-in-law had outfitted as a small woodshop in Northampton Massachusetts in 1997. In 1999 he enrolled and graduated from The New England School of Architectural Woodworking in Easthampton Ma. Rowan loves the challenge of incorporating his clients' needs into a design that can be as beautiful as it is functional. The constant puzzling and problem solving of this type of work is its own reward.
Over the years, he has had three shops of his own, and worked as a cabinetmaker in two others. While in New Hampshire, he shared shop space with George Cirocco of Salamandra Glass in Dover NH. By incorporating hand blown glass into his cabinet designs, he has brought custom cabinetry to a new level. In Rowan’s words,
“I have always prided myself on being able to create pieces that are timeless and fit seamlessly into their environment. The addition of this new medium brings yet another dimension into the process that can further customize a piece.”

Tim brings a lot more than contracting experience to the Endeavour team. A Camden local for over 30 years, he first began his work in the construction business as a carpenter in 1971 and a contractor several years later. Over the years, he was worked extensively with many local architects such as John Scholz and John Morris and has been part of the construction and/or renovation of countless residential and commercial projects. Tim also brings with him the experience of 19 years in the commercial seafood business during which he built a 16,000 sq ft seafood plant and housing for 25 employees.
Another advantage Endeavour clients receive is the benefit of Tim’s real estate knowledge. As a realtor with Camden Real Estate, he is able to guide prospective buyers through the entire process, from purchasing to renovating their new home or business, offering valuable insights into industry trends and opportunities.
Recently, Tim has become involved in the winery construction and restoration process. He and other Endeavour employees worked as carpenters in the renovations done at the Cellar Door Winery and Vineyard in Lincolnville. Endeavour was also handled the construction and restoration in Warren for Oyster River Wine Growers as well Breakwater Winery in Owls Head.

When Tom first began his career in the building industry, he and his family were living in Taos, New Mexico, where he worked as both a lead carpenter and project manager. Because that area of the country is consdiered such a mecca for alternative building practices, he was introduced to many new and innovative ways of working to build beautiful homes and businesses, including passive solar design, natural clay plasters, insulated concrete forms, and rainwater collection; just to name a few. He also had the opportunity to use some of these techniques on two custom homes that he built for his family while in Taos.
After moving back to Maine, he began working on a home he had designed.
“I wanted it to be green yet it also had to be affordable; something not easily done. I believe that no mater how you go about building an environmentally friendly building, energy efficiency has to be a priority.”
It was for this reason that the house was built to Energy Star standards, and in the end, met their strictest requirements. Tom loves finding was to use natural, local, and recycled products throughout the building process and, in the end, the project worked out great and opened the door to meeting and working with many skilled craftsmen here on the Mid Coast.
Since that project, he has worked on many different and amazing building projects in the area as a Carpenter, a Contractor, and/or a Project Manager. In Tom’s words, “with every project I’m on I try to incorporate as many environmentally responsible methods and products as possible; all the while adhering to a client’s individual needs, and maintaining a level of fine craftsmen-ship.
