“1We initially chose Endeavor Builders because of their experience in converting existing barns into wineries. While this may seem like a very specialized area, it came in very handy as we are in the process of converting a horse barn into a structure where we will make wine Endeavor was extremely helpful during the design phase of the project. We started out without any plans and will end up with a structure that will meet our current and future needs. They have also done work on our house. They replaced trim, fixed some water problems and removed plastic railings on two large porches and a second floor deck. Unfortunately, the wood materials that were used as replacements did not stand up to the elements. Endeavor contacted both the distributor and the manufacturer of the product. They both agreed to pay for new railings to be built and installed. We are pleased with the end results and with the craftsmanship of the new railings. We also feel good that Endeavor followed up on this matter for us and came back to fix the problem six months after the initial installation. Endeavour truly marries new world technology with old world craftsmanship in the restoration and renovation process. We have been in numerous house, barn, and barn to winery restorations. As can be seen in the accompaning pictures, we have completly reframed and restored this timber frame barn using time honored post and beam building techniques. At the same time we completely insulated and sheathed the interior walls, installed heat, power, modern windows and wine making equipment using modern applications with a green ethic.
